David T. Batey, Managing Director - Canada

He brings his multi-faceted background and expertise gained from twenty-five years operating across and controlling the many dimensions of the travel industry.

Most recently David was General Manager – Canada for AVIAREPS AG, where he represented clients such as Adria Airways, Aircalin, Air Namibia, Estonian Air, Hahn Air, Spirit Airlines and also was Director, Sales & Marketing, North America for Munich International Airport.

Previously he was Vice President – Canada for Pegasus Solutions, where he managed the corporations’ relationships with Fairmont and Four Seasons. Working with other companies such as Nordair, Continental Airlines and Delta Hotels & Resorts and over five years as a Corporate Travel Manager for a privately held manufacturer, David brings a truly GLOBAL perspective to your company's requirements.

David is based at the company's office in Toronto.

Peter Lintner, Managing Director - USA

With thirty years’ experience in all facets of travel sales and marketing, Peter remains an active participant in our dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.

Most recently, Peter was Sales Manager – USA for AVIAREPS AG, where he coordinated and directed all sales activities for Adria Airways, Air Greenland, Air Namibia, BWIA West Indies Airways and Estonian Air.

Previously, he was Senior Associate and USA Sales Manager with The Park Group, representing Air Aruba, Air Europe, Air UK, Dragonair and Lithuanian Airlines. Earlier in his career, he held national or regional sales management positions with Air France/Air Afrique, Le Méridien Hotels and Ipanema Tours.

Born in Budapest, Peter has lived on several continents and is fluent in five languages. He and his wife and daughter reside in Manhattan, where they have no problem maintaining a truly GLOBAL outlook.

Peter oversees GOING GLOBAL’s U.S. presence and is based in the New York office.

Bernhard S. Clever, VP Marketing & Sales

Bernhard brings thirty-five years of experience in the airline, hotel and tour operator sectors and is active in the major industry associations. He began his career in Europe as Tour Director with Globus Tours/Gateway Holidays. Since then, he has worked in every sector of the industry, including the representation business in Asia and North America.

Most recently, Bernhard held a series of senior management positions with China Southern Airlines. He has also held sales and marketing management positions at Pakistan International Airlines, Yemenia - Yemen Airways and Cathay Pacific Airways. During his tenure with Cathay Pacific, he was seconded for several years to the Manila Hotel as Director of Marketing.

For the past six years Bernhard has served as an Airport Commissioner for the City of Long Beach, California, where he had active involvement in the operational and marketing requirements of an airport. He was instrumental in attracting a major carrier to Long Beach Airport.

Bernhard truly understands the GLOBAL business of travel. He oversees the GOING GLOBAL presence on the U.S. West Coast and in Asia and is based in Los Angeles.
